In Punta del Este, Uruguay, during the 1940s, this sandwich was developed. Grill the beef tenderloin to further enhance its taste. Do not forget to serve this dish with a cool beer, Tannat-style red wine, or black soda.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- 2 beef tenderloin steaks
- 2 slices of ham
- 2 loaves
- 2 lettuce leaves
- 1 sliced tomato
- 2 slices of smoked bacon
- Salt, pepper and mayonnaise to taste
Preparation
- The meat should be hammered thin before being browned in a skillet with salt and pepper.
- Toast the bacon, ham, and eggs in a separate pan. Mayonnaise should be applied to the bottom half of the split buns.
- Add the tomato, lettuce, one of the fried eggs, a steak, bacon, ham, and mozzarella cheese.
- Serve with French fries and top with the remaining piece of bread.
